MITOSATH is an African inspired, Nigerian based Non-Governmental Development Organization (NGDO) set to fulfil that complementary role to government’s effort of improving the quality of human life and that socially desirable role of advocacy for the less privilege that abound in our society

With increased globalization and complexity due to the contractions of modern development, the less fortunate of the society have become marginalized and even ignored. Formal social institutions for life improvement have become personalized and increasingly urbanized and nominal in concern for the rural dwellers

This is the motivation setting that gave birth to MITOSATH

Mission Statement

The mission of MITOSATH is to assist those in need through the provision of health services and to support governments and communities to save and improve the living conditions of needy rural people.

MITOSATH is the only national Non-Governmental Health Organization into Ivermectin Distribution (IDP) in Nigeria.

MITOSATH is a member of the NGDO Coalition in Nigeria, National Onchocerciasis Task Force (NOTF), and NGDO COORDINATION GROUP with Secretariat in WHO, Geneva and in Partnership with African Programme on Onchocerciasis Control (APOC).
